A Fleetwood solar upgrade

Fleetwood publishes owner’s manuals at fleetwoodrv.com/owners-manuals. This site links that library for Bounder, Discovery, Southwind, Flair, Pace Arrow, Frontier, Jamboree, and Tioga. One PDF was verified during the rebuild: the 2019 Bounder Class A gas manual, part L90-0300-68, on Fleetwood’s own server. Other years are not given made-up PDF links. Pick them on Fleetwood’s page.

That 2019 manual’s house-electrical chapter describes shore power, the generator, the converter, and two battery banks, chassis and house. It tells you the electronics are voltage sensitive and that modifications can void the warranty. It does not publish a solar-ready wattage for the roof. Neither does this site.

So the upgrade path is: identify the year and model, download the manual from Fleetwood, then size the array with the solar planner using your roof measurements and your loads. The planner’s parts list only links products that were already on the Megawatt calculators. A 400-watt pack plus a 12-volt 300Ah battery is a starter bundle in the gear kits, labeled as planning parts, not a Fleetwood factory option.

CCRV (Cross Country RV Solar) is the installer named on the old partners page, with the phone number 989-464-3314. The email subject line published there was “Megawatt 10% Off Labor.” Confirm the offer with them. There is no star rating because none was published.

Component manuals stay with the component makers. Dometic, Norcold, Lippert, Suburban, and Cummins (Onan) are linked from the manuals hub. Do not rehost their PDFs here.
