Dump stations

Use the park’s own directions. The 2019 Fleetwood manual says to leave the black valve closed until you dump, and it allows the grey valve to stay open on a hookup. Confirm that against your coach.

Glossary

Shore power
120-volt power from a pedestal. The 2019 gas manual describes a 30-amp cord for that coach.
House battery
The bank that feeds interior 12-volt loads. Separate from the chassis batteries that crank the engine.
Amp-hour
A capacity unit. The Megawatt calculator converts its lithium listings to watt-hours at 12.8, 25.6, or 51.2 volts nominal (the Wh numbers printed in the widget).
Watt-hour
Volts times amp-hours. A day of use in the calculators is watt-hours, not amps.
Boondocking
Camping without hookups. The planner calls that travel style out so the sun-hour preset and the tier change with it.
GCWR
Gross combined weight rating of a tow vehicle plus trailer. The license notes for Maryland and Illinois use it. Read your sticker.
Payload
What is left before you hit GVWR, after the coach, people, cargo, water, and propane. The payload calculator does that subtraction and nothing more.
